I help Americans and Germans understand each other better. My talks and workshops explore how media, journalism, entertainment, education, public debate, social interaction, institutions, markets, law, and constitutional principles shape how people think, how societies function, and how freedom is understood in Germany and the United States. Through this work, I encourage informed dialogue, mutual understanding, and new opportunities for cooperation across the Atlantic.
