About me
The Philosophy of Liberty is the work of Ken Schoolland — economist, professor, and one of the liberty movement's great popularizers. He is an Associate Professor of Economics at Hawaii Pacific University, where he directs the Entrepreneurship Center and is the institution's longest-serving member of faculty, and he serves as Vice President for International Relations at Liberty International.
A member of the Mont Pelerin Society and a scholar of the Grassroot Institute of Hawaii, Schoolland is best known for The Adventures of Jonathan Gullible: A Free Market Odyssey — the satirical tale to which this essay forms the epilogue. It has been translated into more than fifty languages and adapted for radio, stage and screen around the world.
