About me
Sara Higdon is a U.S. Army veteran, writer, speaker, and liberty advocate with 7.5 years of service as a logistics officer in the 101st and 82nd Airborne Divisions, where she earned a Bronze Star during her combat tour in Afghanistan in 2013. Those formative years in uniform instilled in her a deep commitment to individual rights, clear-eyed realism, and skepticism of institutional overreach.
Sara brings that same discipline to today’s cultural and political debates. Unapologetically critical of identity-based authoritarianism and groupthink, she champions freedom of expression, civil discourse, and the principle that human dignity comes from personal autonomy and responsibility.
She serves as Digital Marketing Manager at Free the People and hosts the TRANSform to Freedom podcast. A former staff writer for The Post Millennial and Human Events, Sara continues as a freelance reporter covering major events. She has been featured in the Daily Mail, Newsmax, Dr. Phil Primetime, Real America’s Voice, and TimcastIRL.
