About me
Matthew James Geiger is faculty, media coordinator, and the host of the Menger Institute Podcast. He is a Ph.D. candidate in economics at Universidad Rey Juan Carlos in Madrid, Spain, where his research focuses on the economics of suicide, monetary institutions, and social philosophy from the Austrian School tradition. Geiger lectures on economics, political theory, social engineering, and the relationship between institutions and human flourishing. His work bridges economic theory, history, psychology, and culture while making complex ideas accessible to a broader audience through education, writing, and public speaking.
