About me
Lukas Dwelly, CAP®, AEP®, joined DonorsTrust, bringing two decades of nonprofit executive experience, having raised tens of millions of dollars for regional and national organizations as both a team member and consultant. His career began in the U.S. Senate before transitioning to fundraising. A decorated veteran, Lukas served as a Marine Corps sergeant, deploying to Bosnia and the Middle East, and continues serving as a U.S. Navy Reserve Intelligence Officer with deployments to Africa and the Middle East. He holds three graduate degrees: a Master of Public Administration from the University of Louisville and both an MA in Communication and an MBA from Bellarmine University. Lukas is married to Dr. Lane Roland and is the proud father of twin teenage girls and a goldendoodle named Norman Buckley.
