Jeremy “Spike” Cohen is a business owner, activist, and nationally recognized advocate for local, state, and national government reform. He has appeared on national, international, and hundreds of local media platforms to drive the message of human respect in local politics, combining knowledge, passion, and humor to bring people together. In 2020, Spike ran for national political office, garnering 3rd place in that race and engaging directly with countless local residents, small business owners, and nonprofit leaders.
Driven by his conversations with local residents, Spike founded You Are The Power to defend citizens in their communities from overreaching local officials. To date, You Are the Power has driven multiple policy victories, from police accountability to defending charities, and continues to defend innocent citizens from corrupt officials and government overreach.
