About me
Ashley Van Milligan discovered her passion for model rocketry at a young age through family competitions around the world. She began competing at the National Association of Rocketry Annual Meet (NARAM) at age seven and represented the United States internationally starting at age ten, competing in Bulgaria, Romania, Poland, Serbia, Ukraine, and across the United States. Through years of dedication to the sport, she developed a strong interest in engineering and innovation.
Ashley is currently pursuing a degree in Biomedical Engineering with a concentration in biomechanics at the University of North Texas, where she also competes as a Division I diver. Combining her passions for engineering, athletics, and helping others, she plans to attend graduate school to earn a master’s degree in Prosthetics and Orthotics and contribute to improving quality of life through advanced mobility solutions.
