About me
Olivia Degenkolb, a Berkeley, California native, served in the U.S. Navy as a nuclear technician, naval flight officer, and foreign policy expert. She was selected for several elite assignments, including flag aide, Olmsted scholar, and Assistant Naval Attaché (designate) to China. In 2021, her diplomatic assignment was revoked due to COVID-19 vaccination requirements, despite a pending religious accommodation request. After questioning the legal basis of government mandates, the Navy withheld her family’s belongings for a year, denied leave and professional opportunities, and destroyed her career. She supported hundreds of soldiers and civilians in advocating for their right to refuse emergency use authorized products. She is an avid homesteader and Vice President of Feds for Freedom.
