About me
Phil Hahn has spent more than 40 years designing, building, and developing homes and communities throughout the United States, Mexico, and Belize. During that time, he came to a simple conclusion: many people aren't looking for more stuff - they're looking for more freedom. Freedom to make their own decisions, grow their own food, generate their own power, and live life on their own terms. That search eventually brought him to Belize, a country whose welcoming people and culture of independence make it one of the freest and most attractive places in the Western Hemisphere. Those insights inspired the creation of Carmelita Gardens—an elegant, self-sufficient, off-grid community in Belize.
