About me
Rob Arnott is founder and chair of Research Affiliates, a research-driven asset management firm he launched in 2002. A widely respected financial analyst and innovator, he pioneered investment strategies including the Fundamental Index™ approach and tactical asset allocation. Arnott also serves as co-portfolio manager for several PIMCO funds and has held leadership roles at First Quadrant, Salomon Brothers, and TSA Capital Management. He has published more than 150 articles in leading financial journals and received numerous industry honors, including the William F. Sharpe Indexing Lifetime Achievement Award. Arnott earned his degree in economics, applied mathematics, and computer science from UC Santa Barbara.
